Flat or Articulating... How about Both!

This customer recently moved into a new home and had four TVs to install. The one in the master bedroom had a dilemma of placement. The only available wall for the TV was adjacent to where the bed would be. In this case an articulating mount would be the ideal solution, but here lies the problem also. The standard articulating wall mount, when in the home position, leaves the TV out from the wall five inches or so. This can be unsightly and leave exposure to the hardware and wiring behind the TV. Solution... have an articulating mount that is recessed into the wall. Peerless Mounts provided this solution for this homeowner. When the TV is completely back against the wall, it's flat against the wall. The pictures do more justice in the explanation of the mounting solution and how using this mount can resolves some issues that one might have in life.

Getting Started...

As jobs come along I'll try to keep up with this site and show you what's going on with Knowles Audio. First off I just wanted to post my latest job with Margolis Vision. I have known Dr. Margolis for some time and have done some work for him personally. They recently opened a new office and asked me to help out with their distributed audio. The job was basic and pretty straight forward. The cool thing about this job is how the controls and interaction turned out. Two main audio sources were used, an in-wall iPod docking station and a Sonos unit. The sweet thing about this layout is that the basic elements of control are all done from the front desk computer, including volume, audio source and some audio selections. Sonos desktop controller allows this to be done. I've included a picture to show the basic layout. With this job I also helped out in mounting and wiring some monitors in a remote location from the pc for customer use. Dr. Margolis liked the whole concept so well that they incorporated it into their main office. One difference at their main office was the control. Instead of using the pc we used an iTouch to control the system. This gave them the flexibility of mobile control. Sweet! Overall the project turned out really well and they will end up saving a lot of money from monthly bills from their previous audio source!

Thanks

I just wanted to thank Digital Photo Mania for setting this up.
